Lonvilliers
Lonvilliers in Saint-Martin refers to a historical and maritime place, made famous by Robert de Lonvilliers and the Treaty of Concordia. A peaceful and enchanting place located on the north of the island of Saint-Martin. This charming bay is home to a lively little marina, surrounded by shops and offering a variety of nautical activities for visitors.

History
The history of Saint-Martin is intimately linked to this site: on a nearby hill, nicknamed the "Mont des Accords", the Treaty of Concordia was signed by Robert de Lonvilliers for France and Martin Thomas for the Netherlands, on March 23, 1648. This treaty defined the division of the island, allowing the French to retain the coast opposite Anguilla and the Dutch to settle around the fort on the south coast, while sharing the natural resources. Robert de Lonvilliers, Governor of Saint-Martin from 1648 to 1651, was succeeded by his uncle Philippe de Longvilliers de Poincy until 1960, continuing the island's colonial history.
Today, Anse Marcel combines this rich historical heritage with an idyllic natural setting.
